Create Your Own Jewellery

If you want to get a little artistic and see results right away, Montreal’s bead stores are for you. And who doesn’t want more jewellery?

There are a few stores to choose from in Montreal. These two caught my attention.

  • BIDZ: Wide selection of beads. Personalized courses ($20/hr) or classes on the basics, wire work, rings, bead weaving, and “Fimo” (clay). Classes are $25-$30 for 1.5-2hrs. http://www.bidz.ca.

  • The Bead Emporium of Montreal, Inc. Take a class on the basics for approx. $20. Lots of beads and magazines. Right next to an awesome bakery AND there are a large number of cafés on Sherbrooke. Bead Emporium of Montreal Info
